Course Details: Certificate III in Retail Baking (Bread) FDF30610

Bakers prepare and bake bread loaves, rolls and fancy breads, mixing, baking, filling, icing and decorating. Tasks may include:

  • The operation of slicing and wrapping machines

  • Forming of dough, kneading by hand or machine

  • Monitor oven temperatures and breads appearance, and

  • Turn out and cool and check the cleanliness of equipment to ensure health and safety regulations are met.

There are 13 units to be undertaken - 9 Core Units and 4 Elective Units.
